The NI Academic Conclave – Chandigarh Chapter is a focused academic and industry engagement designed to connect faculty members, academic leaders, and researchers with practical engineering tools and industry-grade technologies.

The conclave emphasizes the modernization of teaching methodologies, laboratory infrastructure and research practices using NI platforms. It also guides faculty on leveraging government research schemes and funding opportunities to accelerate applied research and innovation within their institutions.

Through live demonstrations, hands-on technical sessions and collaborative discussions, participants will explore how NI platforms, including LabVIEW, Data Acquisition (DAQ) systems, Multisim and USRP-based SDR can enhance teaching effectiveness, enable cutting-edge research and equip students with industry-ready skills.

Organized by National Instruments (NI) in collaboration with VVDN Technologies, the conclave aims to strengthen the academic-industry ecosystem and foster long-term institutional partnerships.

Event Objectives:

  • Showcase NI platforms (LabVIEW, DAQ systems, Multisim, SDR) through live demonstrations.
  • Provide hands-on technical learning for faculty members.
  • Enable curriculum and laboratory integration using NI tools.
  • Explore sensor and DAQ-based research for Civil, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, Centrical and Robotics.
  • Demonstrate NI solutions for Wireless Communication Systems, Electric Vehicles, IoT and Control Systems.
  • Facilitate research collaborations and MoU discussions.
  • Upskill faculty in emerging domains: IoT, 5G/6G, Digital Twins, Embedded & Real-Time Systems.
  • Build a sustainable NI Academic Ecosystem across institutions.
